Scott was a founding partner of Altas. Prior to joining Altas, Scott worked at Providence Equity Partners in New York. At Providence, Scott was focused on opportunities in the business services and communications sectors. Scott was actively involved in the development of Grupo TorreSur, the largest independent wireless tower operator in Brazil, and SRA International, a leading provider of services to U.S. government organizations.
Prior to Providence, Scott worked at McColl Partners, an investment banking firm founded by Hugh McColl, where he advised corporations and large family-owned businesses in merger, acquisition, and financing transactions. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. Scott serves on the Global Leadership Council at the University of North Carolina.
