Tony was Co-Head of Credit Suisse’s Private Fund Group (PFG), widely regarded as the leading institutional private equity advisory firm globally. Tony retired at the end of 2013, having been with PFG and its predecessor, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), since 1998. Prior to DLJ, Tony worked for 13 years at Bankers Trust Company in a variety of positions in the fixed income, derivative, and asset management businesses. In the mid 1990s, he served as Managing Director and Head of Sales, Marketing and Client Service of BT Asset Management, which managed more than $200 Billion of institutional assets, then one of the largest investment managers in North America. Today, he holds several board and advisory positions.
Tony began his career at Walter E. Heller & Company in Chicago, and also spent two years as a First Scholar with The First National Bank of Chicago. Tony earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College in 1979 and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1983.
