Andrew Sheiner

Andrew founded Altas Partners in 2012 following a 17-year career with Onex Corporation, a leading North American private equity firm. As a Managing Director, Andrew co-led the establishment of Onex Partners (Onex’ large cap private equity platform) in 2001 and oversaw its other investing platforms, including ONCAP, Onex Credit Partners and Onex Real Estate.

Andrew worked at McKinsey & Company and a private family business prior to joining Onex Corporation in 1995. Andrew was educated at McGill University (Bachelor of Commerce, Gold Medalist) and Harvard University (MBA). Andrew is or has served as a Board member or Trustee of The Hospital For Sick Children, the York School, Urban Squash Toronto and Harvard Business School’s Canadian Advisory Board.
